Safety:

Attendees are expected to behave in a safe manner at all times. Running and horseplay are not allowed, nor are wheeled items such as roller blades and skateboards. All UAA policies and state laws are to be observed while attending the event.

Weapons Policy:

All weapons and weapon-like items brought to the convention must be fake and part of the attendee's costume. As per UAA's weapons policy, live steel (such as katanas, whether sheathed or not), guns and gun replicas (including toys) are not permitted at any time. Allowed prop weapons such as plastic kunai or wooden swords must be peace-bonded upon entry. Peace-bonding signifies that you will not draw the weapon (except in the case of posing for a photo), nor use it in any way that could be unsafe or threatening to other attendees. Violation of peace-bonding rules may result in the confiscation of your item and/or further action depending on the severity of the offense.

Decency and Attire:

Keep your conduct PG-13. Swearing and other offensive dialogue should be kept to a minimum, especially while on stage. As a general rule, your costume should cover at least that of a swimsuit, and may not give the illusion of nudity (such as a towel without clear visibility of clothing under it, cotton balls taped to a flesh-colored bodysuit, etc.). If it shows too much skin for the pool, then it's not appropriate for the con.

Harassment:

Harassment, whether verbal or physical, is prohibited at the event. If you feel you are being harassed by another attendee, report the incident immediately to a security staff member. Please behave in a respectful and courteous manner to all staff and attendees.

Cheating and Bribery:

Attempts to gain an unfair advantage in a contest, tournament, or lottery is prohibited and will be dealt with accordingly. Examples include cheating, bribery, and/or submitting false or otherwise deceptive information on one's entry form.

Property Damage:

Senshi-Con and/or Student Union may hold you liable for damage you make to the facility, equipment, or decorations. Intentional damage to another person's property (including costume) will result in immediate dismissal from the event.

Theft:

Theft or attempted theft of another person's property will result in dismissal from the event, and possible further action. You must wear your badge or wristband for the duration of the event to show that you paid admission, or are otherwise authorized to be in the convention areas. Security and staff will be conducting "badge checks" from time to time to guard against people attempting to gain entry for free. Please note that Senshi-Con cannot be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Minor Policy:

As we will not have childcare available, children 17 and under must have a signed permission waiver from a parent or guardian to attend the event. Children under 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (21 and older) at all times. Please pick your children up no later than 8:45 PM.

Senshi-Con reserves the right to modify these rules at any time.
